Drum Kits:
My first drum kit was a old Rogers Holiday kit which I still own it was a 4 piece kit from the 1960's. It had a chrome snare drum 14 inch, 22 inch bass, 12 inch tom, 16 inch floor tom.14 inch Camber hi hats, 20 inch Avanti ride and a 16 inch crash (which I don't remember the brand)The hi hat stand was Ludwig Speed King, and the bass pedal Rogers leather strap.
 
2nd Kit was in 1989 a Yamaha Stage Custom which I still own 24 inch bass, 14 inch Yamaha chrome snare, 13 inch tom , 14 inch tom, and 18 inch floor tom all in white
the bass pedal did change to the DW 5000 single chain drive in 1980 so that pedal was used on this kit when I got it. The cymbals did change also I had a mix on this kit there was a 14 inch Paiste color sound (in black) 16 inch Sabian and a 18 inch Zildjian (who cares how you spell it I don't care for them anyways lol) during this kits usefullness I bought a DW 5000 Double pedal in 1996 and began learning to play Doule bass. I also upgraded to playing all Sabian Cymbals which I still play today which are as follows 14 inch Sabian Pro hi hats, 10 HH Splash, 14 inch Pro Crash, 16 inch Pro Crash, 18 inch Pro Crash, 20 inch Pro ride, 18 inch Pro Chinese. and I also picked up a Rock-n-Sock Throne.
 
Current set up is a Pearl Export Select in Blue Mist #273
(2) X 22 inch bass drums, DW 8 X14 inch chrome over steel snare, 8 inch tom, 10 inch tom, 12 inch tom, 14 inch tom, 16 floor tom. The mic's I use are  Digital Reference on my toms ADK D112's on my bass drums, and Sennheiser mics on the snare My choice of stick for years been nylon tipped Promark 747 rockers in hickory. .
